STOP THE THREAT - STOP THE STIGMA
Breaking the Silence in Law Enforcement Mental Health
A powerful firsthand presentation about surviving a critical incident, confronting trauma, and helping first responders understand that asking for help is a sign of strength.
CRITICAL INCIDENT. SURVIVAL. PURPOSE.

A MISSION BORN FROM EXPERIENCE
After surviving a life-altering critical incident, Adam made it his mission to break the stigma around mental health
in law enforcement and first responder communities.
His story is real. His message is simple. You are not alone.

WHY THIS MISSION EXISTS
Surviving the Incident Was Only the Beginning
In December 2020, Stop The Threat – Stop The Stigma was created to promote mental wellness among law-enforcement officers and other public-safety professionals.
Adam’s experience showed him how difficult it can be to speak openly about trauma, asking for help, and taking the first step toward recovery. His mission is to make that step feel possible for others.
Through honest conversation, education, and trusted resources, the organization encourages first responders, families, leaders, and communities to replace silence with support.
“It’s OK to talk about your mental health.”
